Product

Everything needed to run shift outreach in one workflow.

ShiftReach turns the scramble of filling an open shift into a structured process: define the shift, contact the right people, collect their answers, and assign with full context.

Capabilities

From the roster to the assignment.

Open shift creation

Create a shift with its location, position, date and time window, and the requirements it depends on. The shift becomes the record everything else attaches to.

Employee roster and approved work

Maintain employees with the positions they hold, the locations they are approved for, relevant certifications, and their contact opt-in status.

SMS outreach with YES / NO responses

Eligible employees receive a text describing the shift and reply with a simple YES or NO. Responses are captured against the shift automatically.

AI scheduling calls

For eligible employees who have not replied, an AI assistant can call, describe the shift, answer basic questions about it, and capture availability conversationally.

Availability status and review

Every person shows a clear state — available, unavailable, needs review, or awaiting a response — so a manager can see the position of the whole outreach at a glance.

Manual final assignment

Assignment is a deliberate manager action. Nothing is confirmed on an employee's behalf by SMS automation or by the AI assistant.

Usage and billing history

Communication usage such as messages and calls is recorded so you can see the outreach activity behind your shifts and how it maps to your plan.

Account roles and company separation

Access is organized by role within a company, so teams work inside their own organization's shifts, roster and records.

Scope of the AI

What ShiftReach AI does — and what it doesn't.

The AI assistant exists to have the conversation, not to make workforce decisions.

What it does

  • Places outbound scheduling calls to employees who are already determined eligible
  • Explains the shift details in natural conversation
  • Captures availability, declines and stated conditions
  • Records the outcome against the open shift
  • Flags unclear or conditional answers for a manager to review

What it does not do

  • Decide whether someone is qualified for a position
  • Override eligibility rules, certifications or approved locations
  • Assign, confirm or schedule anyone onto a shift
  • Contact employees who have not opted in to that outreach
  • Negotiate pay, employment terms or discipline
